D5830
In the middle of August D5830 was moved into the shed at Ruddington, which has given us the opportunity to start repairs on D5830. The main focus has been unbolting the 4 roof sections and disconnecting equipment connected to those roof sections in preparation for their removal for repairs to take place. This meant we have also had to drain the fuel header tank and the cooling system.
We have also been loaned a wagon to put the roof sections and this was prepped and cleaned ready to receive the roof sections.
